In the early hours of August 9, the occupiers again attacked Ukraine, launching 47 strike drones and two cruise missiles, reports 'Glavkom'. In response to this attack, the air force, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fought back. As of the morning, 16 drones and one cruise missile were destroyed.
The enemy drones attacked various regions and cities of Ukraine, particularly in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions, as well as the city of Dnipro. A total of 31 strike drones were recorded at 15 different locations.
In Kharkiv region, fires were caused by the enemy's attack, and buildings were damaged in Balakliia community. Missiles fired at Dnipro resulted in casualties among civilians and destruction at a facility.
