Russia lost the Su-30SM aircraft over Snake Island

Intelligence assets of the Naval Forces of Ukraine obtained a radio intercept about the loss of communication with the Russian invaders' Su-30SM aircraft, which was carrying out a mission southeast of Snake Island. The aircraft likely crashed for unspecified reasons, - stated in the message.
It was noted that the occupiers began a search and rescue operation, and wreckage of the aircraft has already been found on the surface of the sea, but the pilots have not been located yet.
Incidents with Russian aircraft
It is also worth mentioning that earlier in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, a Su-34 aircraft crashed during a training flight, but both crew members survived. At the same time, drones from the Special Operations Center of the SBU conducted an attack on the military airfield 'Saky' in the occupied Crimea. This airfield is a key air base for Russia's operations in the Black Sea.
