The head of the occupation administration of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, has decided to привлечь Chinese businesses to the construction of transport infrastructure in the annexed Crimea. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
According to the SZRU, during the last meeting, Aksyonov stated that there are preliminary agreements regarding the facilities that will receive investments, particularly the Kerch seaport and the infrastructure of Lake Donuzlav, where the Russian Navy is based.
- Kerch seaport (Russia actively uses it for 'grey' exports);
- infrastructure of Lake Donuzlav (where the base of the Russian Navy is located).
In order to sign the final agreement, the occupation authorities of Crimea plan to invite potential Chinese builders to visit Crimea. Among them is the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), one of the largest companies for the construction of railways and transport highways. The total capital is estimated at $10 billion.
Interestingly, the agent of the 'Atesh' movement recorded that the head of the occupation administration of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, moves around Simferopol with an escort, which includes a vehicle with an electronic warfare system (EW). After recent successful operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, collaborator Aksyonov expresses serious concerns about a possible FPV drone strike aimed at his liquidation. Due to this, he is increasingly less seen in public places, and his movements have become as secret and fast as possible.
After the decision of the head of the occupation administration of Crimea to attract Chinese business to the construction of transport infrastructure, political and economic relations in the region may undergo changes. This decision may affect the international situation, as well as the state of infrastructure facilities in Crimea, which may have further consequences for Ukraine and the region as a whole.
