On December 8, the XLII General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine took place in Koncha-Zaspa under the chairmanship of president Vadim Gutzeit. The participants discussed the activities of the NOC of Ukraine, evaluated the performances of Ukrainian athletes, and set priorities for the future.
The participants noted that this year the NOC of Ukraine celebrated its 35th anniversary, and representatives of federations, regional branches, state institutions, and partner organizations gathered at the assembly to honor this anniversary.
During the solemn event, state awards were presented to outstanding figures of the Ukrainian Olympic movement, and issues of Olympic training development, international projects, federation activities, ethical standards, and budget planning were discussed.
This General Assembly was important for making decisions that will impact the future development of the Olympic movement in Ukraine.
