The Agricultural Land Market of Ukraine in 2025
In 2025, the agricultural land market of Ukraine demonstrated resilience and transitioned to a phase of mature development, with the alienation of 115.6 thousand plots with a total area of over 340 thousand hectares. According to the data, legal entities acquired 128 thousand hectares at an average price of 74,323 UAH per hectare, while individuals purchased almost 212 thousand hectares at an average price of 47,246 UAH per hectare.
Price Trends in Different Regions
The most expensive lands are concentrated in the western regions of Ukraine. Ivano-Frankivsk region is the absolute leader with a price of up to 165,615 UAH per hectare, followed by Ternopil region with a price of up to 126 thousand UAH per hectare. Lviv and Vinnytsia regions have prices in the range of 80–100 thousand UAH per hectare.
At the same time, in frontline regions such as Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia, the land cost is 35–38 thousand UAH per hectare.
