Today marks the anniversary of the hero's death - Andrii Melnyk, who gave his life defending Ukraine. He was not only an amateur football player and a family man but also a brave defender in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Andrii always stood by his principles and was ready to go to the end, even if it meant risking his own life.
His memory is immortal, both on the football field, where tournaments are held in his honor, and among relatives, friends, and comrades in arms. Andrii Melnyk will always remain a bright legend, a force to be emulated.
