- Lidl - 275.49 zl.
- Biedronka - 289.64 zl.
- Makro - 292.03 zl.
- Selgros (C&C) - 292.95 zl.
The highest prices for the holiday set are observed in Carrefour - 323.27 zl. and Polomarket - 323.35 zl. The difference between the cheapest and the most expensive basket is almost 73 zlotys.
The study covered 10 categories of products, among which the greatest price increase is observed in confectionery, beverages, and dairy products. At the same time, the category of oils and fats showed a price decrease. These changes indicate a variety of pricing strategies in Polish retail chains that can affect consumer choices during holiday shopping.
The increase in prices for the holiday basket in Poland reflects overall economic trends that may influence consumer habits. In the context of rising food costs, consumers may be forced to pay attention to prices, which may lead to a shift from familiar retail chains to more advantageous options. This may also indicate possible changes in demand for certain categories of goods, particularly those that have increased the most in price.
