Price Difference in Fuel: How Much Can Be Saved at the Regional Border

Recently, drivers have been paying close attention to fuel prices, especially at various gas stations. In Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions, a significant difference in prices can be observed, which may influence the choice of where to refuel the vehicle.



According to the data from vseazs.com, as of August 19, 2025, in Poltava region, gasoline A-98 costs an average of 52.00 UAH per liter, while in Dnipropetrovsk region, the price for this type of fuel is 49.50 UAH. This means that the cost of fuel in Dnipropetrovsk is 2.50 UAH lower than in Poltava.



A similar situation is observed with other types of fuel. Gasolines A-95+ and A-95 are also sold cheaper in Dnipropetrovsk region.


For example, A-95+ gasoline in Poltava costs 64.49 UAH, while in Dnipro it is 59.99 UAH, with a difference of 4.50 UAH. Prices for diesel fuel and gas also differ between regions.


Ukrainian drivers are closely monitoring the price difference for fuel between Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk. Given the significant price gap, they can choose where it is better to refuel the vehicle to save money on trips.
