Volodymyr Rovenkyi reported that currently 22 combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are using domestic ground robotic complexes. They already have their own platoons and companies of ground unmanned systems, and further expansion of their use is planned by 2025.
The increase in the intensity of enemy actions has led to the emergence of dangerous dead zones near the front line, making the use of ground drones a necessity to protect the lives of soldiers on the front lines. Therefore, the demand for these technologies is constantly growing.
"It is precisely technologies that will determine the course of this war," emphasized Volodymyr Rovenkyi.
Currently, ground robots are mainly used for logistical tasks, such as delivering various material valuables and evacuating the wounded. There are also combat complexes, for example, the armored robot "Lut" which can be used as a weapon or perform tasks related to mine-explosive work.
In Ukraine, ground robots are widely used in the Armed Forces, helping to save the lives of servicemen and increasing their effectiveness in difficult combat conditions.
