Ukrainian migrants with higher education in Europe are forced to work in low-skilled jobs due to language barriers and issues with diploma recognition. This was reported by the head of the Migration Policy Office, Vasily Voskoboynik, on the News.Live channel.
'The lion's share of Ukrainians works in the field of physical and unqualified labor,' the expert emphasized.
He explained that the reasons for this are difficulties with learning the language and recognizing diplomas. However, Ukrainians who quickly adapt and learn the language are able to find jobs in their field. In Germany, 39% of Ukrainians are already successfully employed and work in their area of qualification.
To the great surprise of Europeans, 70% of Ukrainian migrants in Europe have higher education. This indicates a high level of education among Ukrainians, despite the difficulties of adapting to new conditions and labor market requirements.
Ukrainian migrants with higher education often work in low-skilled jobs in Europe due to language and documentation challenges; however, those who learn quickly and adapt have a high chance of finding work in their specialty. Despite this, a large number of Ukrainians demonstrate a high level of education, which is a pleasant discovery for recipient countries.
