Widespread Russian Assault Targets Ukraine

On February 7th, Russia launched a large-scale attack against Ukraine, employing drones and missiles across multiple regions. This latest barrage is part of a sustained campaign targeting civilian infrastructure. In Vinnytsia Oblast, an educational facility was struck, with one of its academic buildings sustaining wall damage. Five surrounding structures, including dormitories, were also affected. The assault blew out doors and over 150 windows, and damaged the heating system. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties.

Damage and Response Across the Country

In Kyiv Oblast, emergency services are working to extinguish a warehouse fire caused by a drone strike. Volyn Oblast was also hit, with a critical infrastructure facility suffering damage. Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast came under fire from cruise missiles and drones, with a series of secondary explosions recorded in the town of Burshtyn. Explosions were also reported in the city of Vinnytsia.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, enemy drones targeted the city of Dnipro, damaging the grounds of a municipal enterprise, buildings, trolleybuses, and other vehicles. Khmelnytskyi Oblast suffered from a combined missile and drone attack, which left one man wounded.

Natalia Zabolotna emphasized: 'We are engaging international funds to assist in the rapid restoration of buildings where people live.'

  • Khmelnytskyi
