Drone Attacks Target Dnipropetrovsk Region
On April 6, Russian forces carried out more than ten drone attacks across districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure. These strikes, part of a wider assault on Ukraine's civilian areas, killed an 11-year-old boy and wounded five other people.
In the Synelnykove district, specifically the Pokrovsk community, a private home caught fire during the attacks, with three other homes and a car also damaged. Among the injured were women aged 31 and 61, and a 33-year-old man, all hospitalized in moderate condition. In the Pavlohrad district, the city of Pavlohrad and the Bohdanivka community were hit, causing a fire and damaging an administrative building and power lines. Two men, aged 52 and 66, were wounded and hospitalized in moderate condition.
Strikes on Odesa and the Broader Situation
Additionally, in the Kryvyi Rih district, infrastructure was damaged. In Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka, and Marhanets communities, an administrative building, a private house, and a car were damaged. By the morning of April 6, the enemy had conducted over 30 attacks on civilian infrastructure across three districts of the region.
Also overnight, Russian occupiers launched a massive strike on Odesa, targeting the city's Kyivskyi and Primorskyi districts and triggering large-scale fires. The attacks hit residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, and administrative structures. These assaults on southern and eastern Ukraine highlight the ongoing geographic spread of the conflict.
These events demonstrate the continuation of aggressive actions by Russian military forces, which are aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine, particularly in civilian areas.
