Russian Military Attacks on April 15
On April 15, Russian forces carried out strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against the Cherkasy region, the city of Dnipro, Kharkiv, and the Chuhuiv district. These assaults resulted in civilian casualties and significant damage to infrastructure. In the Cherkasy region, an 8-year-old boy was killed, and nine people, including one child, were hospitalized. Three local residents received medical treatment at the scene. At least four multi-story residential buildings were damaged.
In Dnipro, a missile strike injured at least 20 people and killed five. In response to these events, April 15 was declared a day of mourning in Dnipro. In the Chuhuiv district, Russian forces dropped six guided aerial bombs on the Pechenihy Dam, a critical facility and one of the region's largest reservoirs. Almost simultaneously, a combined attack was launched on Kharkiv, involving combat operations using 'Lancet' and 'Shahed' drones.
