The situation in Ukraine on January 2-3
Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Zolotonosha district of the Cherkasy region on January 2, resulting in five people seeking medical assistance. Two of them were hospitalized, their condition is not severe. Residential infrastructure and a private enterprise were damaged by debris and the shock wave. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration Ihor Taburets.
On the same day, as a result of strikes on the center of Kharkiv, two people died. Five more people are out of contact, their search continues. In the night of January 3, Russia attacked Kyiv region with drones. This attack was part of a massive strike on critical infrastructure carried out by the enemy using Shahed-131/136 type unmanned aerial vehicles in Mykolaiv region.
