Russia attacked Chernihiv region: 50 thousand consumers left without electricity

On the night of October 4, Russia continued its attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. In the Chernihiv region, about 50 thousand consumers were left without electricity due to damage to power supply facilities.



The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine stated that targeted attacks on energy infrastructure are evidence of the terrorist methods used by the enemy. JSC 'Chernihivoblenergo' clarified that several important power supply facilities were damaged as a result of the attack.



In order to minimize power outages, energy workers have implemented a schedule of hourly outages in the Chernihiv region. Workers have already begun recovery operations and plan to alleviate the schedule during off-peak hours.



Russia continued to attack Ukraine's energy infrastructure, leading to widespread power outages in the Chernihiv region. The government classified these actions as terrorist, but energy workers are working to restore the system and minimize negative impacts on the population.
