Attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region and Kharkiv
The Russian Federation carried out attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region and Kharkiv, resulting in injuries to people and damage to infrastructure. As a result of the attack on Dnipropetrovsk, two people were injured: a woman and a man were hospitalized in Kryvorizhskyi and Synelnykivskyi districts. A fire occurred in the territory of the Zelenodolsk community, which damaged two private houses. A fire also occurred in a private house in the Vasylkiv community, another house was damaged, and a private house was damaged in the Solone community.
Strike on Kharkiv and drone attack on Odesa
On the night of January 13, Russian invaders struck the area of the postal terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv. The shelling resulted in the destruction of buildings over an area of about 500 square meters. According to preliminary data, four people were killed as a result of the attack, and six others were injured. Emergency service employees rescued 30 people, two of whom were pulled from the debris of the structures. In the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, a drone hit a children's sanatorium.
Moreover, the Russian Federation carried out a drone attack on Odesa, resulting in damage to residential buildings and social facilities.
These attacks occur against the backdrop of escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has been ongoing since 2014. With each new shelling, it becomes clear that the civilian population and infrastructure are becoming primary targets, causing concern in the international community. In response to these attacks, Ukraine continues to mobilize resources to protect its citizens and restore destroyed facilities.
