Russian drones attacked critical infrastructure in Lviv region
On the night of December 22-23, Russian drones struck a facility of critical energy infrastructure in the Lviv region. This was reported by the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
Thanks to the prompt actions of the defenders, it was possible to minimize the damage. 'Last night, the enemy attacked the critical energy infrastructure facility in the Lviv region using combat drones. Unfortunately, there are consequences,' Kozytskyi noted.
Attacks on other regions of Ukraine
It should be noted that on this night Russia also attacked the Zhytomyr region, where several rocket and drone strikes were recorded, resulting in injuries to people.
Additionally, the Russians launched another large-scale attack with strike drones in southern Odesa region. Damages to energy, port, transport, industrial, and residential infrastructure were recorded in the affected areas.
Consequences for Ukrainian energy
Russia is once again attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure, leading to emergency power outages in several regions. Chernihiv, Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Cherkasy regions, and the capital are currently facing emergency electricity outages.
On December 23, schedules for hourly outages and power restrictions for industrial consumers will also be in effect in other regions of Ukraine.
