Attack on Kherson
On December 28, Russian troops carried out a massive attack on Kherson using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). As a result, part of the city was left without electricity due to strikes on energy supply facilities. This attack marked a new stage of aggression against Ukrainian cities, affecting not only infrastructure but also the civilian population.
Earlier, on December 25, Russian invaders also attacked the central part of Kherson, where the strike occurred around 12:00 PM. As a result of this attack, a 47-year-old market worker was killed, and two other people were injured. These events indicate the growing danger for civilians who remain in the conflict zone.
Shelling of Ukraine
According to reports, on the night of December 25, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 131 strike drones (UAVs), of which 22 UAVs were recorded hitting 15 locations. In Odesa region, one person was killed due to the strike, and two others were injured. Also, in the evening of December 24, Kharkiv and the region became targets for enemy strikes, particularly in the Slobidsky district of Kharkiv, where two drone strikes were recorded.
Oleksandr Prokudin noted that due to numerous 'arrivals', trading points were destroyed, highlighting the scale of destruction and the seriousness of the situation in the region. These events indicate the continuation of the aggressive strategy of Russian forces, which poses a threat to the civilian population and critical infrastructure.
These latest attacks on Kherson and other Ukrainian cities indicate an escalation of violence that continues to threaten the peaceful population. In the context of constant attacks, civilians become victims of military actions, emphasizing the need for international attention to the situation in Ukraine. The destruction of infrastructure, such as energy facilities and trading points, not only complicates the lives of local residents but also has serious consequences for the region's economy.
