In the early hours of February 12, Russian forces launched a combined assault using ballistic missiles and drones against the Ukrainian cities of Kyiv and Dnipro. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the strikes targeted infrastructure facilities. Preliminary information indicates there were no casualties.

In Dnipro, private houses and cars were damaged in one of the city's districts, and a fire broke out. Alexander Ganzha confirmed that the missile and drone attack resulted in damage to private homes and vehicles.

This attack is part of the ongoing armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia, which has now lasted for over a year.

These strikes on civilian infrastructure highlight the persistent threat to the civilian population and signal a continued escalation of violence in the region. The Ukrainian government continues to work on ensuring safety and protecting its citizens in response to such aggressive actions. This latest barrage underscores the vulnerability of urban centers far from the front lines to long-range missile attacks.
