Recent attacks by Russian troops on Ukraine

Russian troops launched attacks on Ukraine, particularly on Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Lviv. Four people were killed in Kyiv, and 19 were injured. As a result of strikes in Lviv, a critical infrastructure facility was attacked. Explosions were heard in the Russian cities of Orel and Belgorod.

The strike on Kyiv occurred on the night of January 9. According to the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, four people have been confirmed dead. Among the injured, 19 individuals were hospitalized. In the Brovary district of Kyiv region, a private house caught fire due to the attack. Four people, including a 5-year-old child, were rescued from the basement.

Attacks on Lviv and Russian cities

The attack on Lviv occurred at 23:47. According to the head of the Lviv regional administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, a critical infrastructure facility was targeted in Lviv region. It is noted that the speed of the aerial target reached about 13 thousand kilometers per hour.

Explosions were also heard in the Russian cities of Orel and Belgorod. The governor of Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported serious damage at an infrastructure facility. These events highlight the continuation of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, as well as escalating tensions in the region.

The situation in Ukraine remains tense as attacks from Russia continue. The Ukrainian authorities are trying to ensure the safety of the civilian population and restore damaged infrastructure.
