Attacks on Kryvyi Rih
On the night of January 14, Russian terrorists attacked Kryvyi Rih with drones. This attack was part of a series of enemy strikes on the city that began on January 7. At that time, Kryvyi Rih was under a massive attack by Russian Shaheds, leading to serious damage to infrastructure. The mayor of the city, Oleksandr Vilkul, urged residents to stock up on water and charge their gadgets, pointing to a difficult situation.
Enemy Strikes and Their Consequences
On January 8, the Russian Federation struck Kryvyi Rih with ballistic 'Iskander' missiles, resulting in two enemy rockets hitting apartment buildings. Injuries were reported following this strike, and assistance is being provided. The attacks caused serious consequences, notably on January 11, when emergency power outages occurred in parts of Dnipropetrovsk region and in Dnipro. At the same time, electricity disappeared across the entire Zaporizhzhia region and in certain areas of Dnipropetrovsk region.
These events highlight the escalation of the situation in the region and the challenges faced by residents of Kryvyi Rih and neighboring areas amid ongoing aggression. Attacks on civilian infrastructure and energy systems threaten the safety of the population and create additional difficulties in ensuring basic needs such as electricity supply and access to water. The situation remains tense, and local authorities urge residents to be cautious and prepared for potential new attacks.
