Attacks Across Ukraine
Russian forces continue to inflict casualties and destruction across Ukraine. In a recent strike, a hospital in Kherson was shelled around 10:00, injuring three people: a 21-year-old man, a 22-year-old woman, and a 60-year-old man. All suffered blast injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds. Two victims received outpatient treatment, while the 60-year-old man was hospitalized. The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported the incident. These attacks on medical facilities are part of a broader pattern of strikes on civilian infrastructure.
Situation in Various Regions
In a separate incident on March 12, Russian troops attacked the Korivka district of the Chernihiv region. A 15-year-old girl was killed and her parents were wounded in the shelling. That same day, Russian invaders used drones to attack settlements in the Kharkiv region, with strikes recorded in the Zolochiv, Malynivka, and Velykyi Burluk communities, as well as in the city of Kharkiv. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were also wounded as a result of attacks.
Furthermore, on March 11, the Russian terrorist army struck a district police department in Shostka, Sumy region, with drones, destroying the building and wounding more than 22 police officers. That same morning, a drone attack occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, resulting in deaths and injuries. A meat processing plant in the city was also hit. These events highlight the ongoing violence and threat to civilians in Ukraine.
These recent incidents underscore the severe humanitarian consequences of the ongoing military actions in Ukraine. Victims not only suffer physical injuries but also witness the destruction of their homes and infrastructure. The increasing number of attacks on civilian objects, such as hospitals and educational institutions, raises serious concerns for the safety of residents and the urgent need for enhanced protective measures by the state and the international community.
