Attack on oil and gas industry facilities in Poltava region


During the night, an attack was carried out on the facilities of the oil and gas industry in the Poltava region. This was reported with reference to the head of the Poltava regional state administration, Volodymyr Kohut.



“As a result of direct strikes and explosions, the structures of oil and gas enterprises in the Mirhorod district were damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured,” he emphasized.

It should be noted that on the night of October 22, Russian occupiers attacked the capital with ballistic missiles and strike drones. Currently, two fatalities have been reported as a result of these attacks.


Also at night, from 01:30 to 01:47, the enemy fired drones at Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, nine people were injured, and the number of casualties is being clarified. According to the press service of the regional state administration, the terrorists targeted critical and civilian infrastructure. Russians launched nine strikes with “Shaheds” in the regional center.


By the way, the occupiers also attacked the Odesa region using strike drones. According to local authorities, the energy and port infrastructure in Izmail was damaged.



The events that occurred indicate the unfavorable situation at the front and the threat to Ukraine's security from Russian aggression. Attacks on oil and gas facilities and civilian infrastructure indicate the need for strengthening security and defense measures.
