Attack on Odesa
The Russian Federation carried out a drone attack on Odesa, resulting in damage to residential buildings, social facilities and people. The attack occurred on January 13, when a hospital, a kindergarten and a school were damaged. As a result of the strike, the facades and glazing of six multi-apartment buildings, two garages and nine cars were damaged.
After the attack, fires broke out in a new building, a fitness center, a vocational college building and garages. A total of five people were injured, and the psychologists of the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 14 people, including one child. The shelling caused significant destruction that required an urgent response from the rescue services.
Strike on Kharkiv
In addition, on the night of January 13, Russian invaders struck the area of a postal terminal in Kharkiv. As a result of this shelling, buildings were destroyed over an area of about 500 square meters. Four people died, and another six were injured. Emergency Service employees managed to rescue 30 people, two of whom were pulled from the rubble.
These events indicate the continuation of armed conflict in Ukraine and its impact on the civilian population. Attacks on social facilities, such as hospitals and schools, highlight serious threats to the civilian population that require urgent humanitarian and medical assistance. Such incidents may also affect the international response and support for Ukraine in the context of the ongoing war.
