Russia attacked Sumy: explosions in three strategic facilities in the RF

Обстріли завдали значних руйнувань у ключових об'єктах Сум.
Russian terrorists attacked the city of Sumy. In Russia, explosions occurred in the Vladimir, Yaroslavl, and Oryol regions, during which a thermal power plant, a substation was wounded, and possibly an oil refinery was damaged. The United States has expressed support for the resumption of nuclear tests.

On the night of October 31, the Russian occupation army launched an attack on Sumy using drones, resulting in injuries. This was reported by Oleg Grygorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

According to Grygorov, the Russian side sent ten drones to Sumy in just one hour, striking civilian infrastructure. As a result, a nine-story building and a two-story residential house in different parts of the city were damaged.

Strikes in the Oryol region

On the night of October 31, the Oryol Thermal Power Plant in the city of Oryol, Russia, was shelled. According to local channels, explosions occurred from three to seven times. Witnesses report that the sky lit up with bright flashes, and the loud sound caused incidents on the road and shattered glass in cars.

Explosions in the Vladimir region and Yaroslavl

On the night of October 31 in Russia's Vladimir region, an explosion occurred at a substation. Eyewitnesses spread videos of the substation being shelled, stating that the air defense was not working. At the same time, several explosions were also heard in Yaroslavl near the oil refinery.

The USA advocates for the resumption of nuclear tests

US Vice President Jay D. Vance confirmed that periodic tests are necessary to check the state of the nuclear arsenal. This statement was made after US President Donald Trump expressed a desire to quickly resume nuclear weapons testing.

Trump cut the refugee admission cap

Under the administration of US President Donald Trump, a decision was made to more than 15 times reduce the annual refugee admission cap - from 125,000 to 7,500 people. The quota will be mainly allocated for the admission of refugees from southern Africa.

The motives for such a sharp restriction compared to the limit set during the presidency of the Democratic Joe Biden were not officially announced.

As a result of the attacks by Russian terrorists on the city of Sumy and explosions in various regions of Russia, significant damage was caused to civilian infrastructure and industrial facilities. The issue of resuming nuclear tests, which is widely discussed in the United States, is particularly acute.
