Massive Combined Missile and Drone Attack Targets Ukraine
In the early hours of February 3, Russian forces launched a massive combined assault on Ukraine, deploying a total of 521 aerial weapons. The primary targets of the attack were the regions of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, and Odesa. According to preliminary data as of 09:30, Ukrainian air defense forces managed to intercept or neutralize 450 of these targets, which included 38 missiles and 412 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This represents one of the largest coordinated barrages since the full-scale invasion began.
The attack resulted in confirmed impacts from 27 missiles and 31 combat drones at 27 different locations. Additionally, debris from downed UAVs fell at 17 other sites. Information regarding six hostile missiles is still being verified. The assault inflicted significant damage to infrastructure; for instance, 50 settlements in the Vinnytsia region were left without power.
Civilian Casualties and Damage
Civilians were also harmed in the attack: three people were injured in Kyiv, and four were wounded in the Sumy region. In Odesa, over 50,000 residents temporarily lost electricity, highlighting the severe impact on daily life.
- Four Zircon/Oniks missiles

- Seven Kh-22 and Kh-32 cruise missiles

This assault is part of an ongoing series of hostile actions aimed at destabilizing Ukraine, directly threatening the lives and safety of the civilian population. The repeated targeting of energy infrastructure and residential areas underscores the indiscriminate nature of the aggression, which extends far beyond military objectives to terrorize ordinary citizens enduring the hardships of war.
