Throughout December 31, several areas of Dnipropetrovsk region were also hit, resulting in four people being injured.
This attack underscores the continuation of Russia's military actions against Ukraine, which negatively affects the civilian population and infrastructure.
Need for international support
The attack on New Year's Eve became yet another confirmation of the escalation of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, which has been ongoing for more than a year. It highlights the need for international support for Ukraine and the strengthening of security measures to protect civilians. As attacks on infrastructure continue, this may have serious consequences for the viability of regions and their residents, requiring urgent action from the Ukrainian authorities and the international community.
