Widespread Assault on Ukrainian Territory
In the early hours of February 7, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined missile and drone attack against numerous regions of Ukraine. The assault resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure, injuries to the population, and the successful interception of many aerial targets by Ukrainian air defense units. Attack Details and Regional Impact
In the Khmelnytskyi region, a man born in 1971 sustained a leg injury and was hospitalized in satisfactory condition; a residential building was also damaged. In Kharkiv, a hostile 'Shahed' type drone struck the Kholodnohirskyi district at 02:37. Explosions were heard in Kropyvnytskyi at 02:43. As of the morning of February 7, firefighters in the Kyiv region were still working to extinguish a blaze at a warehouse facility damaged in the drone attack.
Critical infrastructure was damaged in the Volyn region due to the drone strikes. A series of secondary explosions were recorded in Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region, and explosions also rang out in Vinnytsia. On February 7, drones were directed at the Dnipropetrovsk region, where the territory of a municipal enterprise in Dnipro was damaged, along with buildings, trolleybuses, and other vehicles.
Ukrainian air defense forces were active throughout the attack.
"There are interceptions; more detailed information will follow. The air raid alert continues. I urge residents of the region to remain in shelters and not to ignore danger signals," said Serhii Tyurin.
