Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state railway operator, has announced delays for a number of trains in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions due to the security situation. The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine stated that 'Russia has once again targeted civilian railway infrastructure in the Chernihiv region.' In a separate development, repairs have begun on the stairs leading to the Northern Platform No. 2 at the Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi station, with the primary goal of modernizing the descent. Additionally, the State Property Fund of Ukraine will take control of 1,592 confiscated Russian freight cars, which will be transferred for use by Ukrzaliznytsia. The injured driver and assistant driver, according to the ministry, continue to receive all required aid.
