Russian forces shelled the Zaporizhzhia district, killing three people and wounding three others. The victims include a 62-year-old man and two women, aged 26 and 50. The attack damaged seven private homes, one of which was destroyed. Firefighters extinguished a blaze in a 100-square-meter residential building and a gas pipe fire, and emergency rescue operations have concluded.

Separately, a drone attack on Odesa damaged an infrastructure facility. Another tragic incident occurred in the Kharkiv region on January 27, when a passenger train was struck, resulting in six fatalities. The aftermath of that strike has also been cleared.
