Attacks on Zaporizhzhia
As a result of the attacks by Russia on Zaporizhzhia, one person has died and five have been injured. In Orihiv, a 46-year-old man was killed as a result of an airstrike.
In the early morning, the occupiers launched three airstrikes on the industrial zone of the regional center, resulting in injuries to a 43-year-old woman. Additionally, as a result of shelling from multiple launch rocket systems in Tavriyske, two women were injured. In Rozumivka, a local resident suffered shrapnel wounds due to a drone attack.
Escalation of the conflict
These events are occurring against the backdrop of an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, which has lasted for over a year. Attacks on civilian objects and the population are part of a war strategy that leads to an increase in casualties among the civilian population.
