The Russian occupation authorities have evicted over 12,000 people from Crimea based on court rulings. This was reported by Vitaliy Sekretar, the first deputy head of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, during the presentation of the project 'War Crimes in Crimea.'

'When we started investigating the ways in which the Russian Federation is deporting civilians from Crimea, we found that there are about 12,000 court rulings issued by the occupying authorities regarding these facts. This is 12,000 clearly established individuals,' Sekretar noted.

In particular, statistics show that approximately 55,000 people have the status of internally displaced persons from Crimea. However, around 28,000 Crimeans have rejected this status or have not formalized it, and a significant number of people have emigrated to other countries.

'How many people did not receive this status because they did not want to legally formalize this procedure? It seems that about 28,000 individuals completely rejected this status. Many people have moved to Western countries,' explained the prosecutor's representative.

Sekretar urged those affected by the actions of the occupiers to contact law enforcement agencies, promising confidentiality and protection. The Prosecutor's Office is also forwarding information to the International Criminal Court, following departmental procedures.
