Russia prepares new massive attacks on the energy system: strike interval every 10 days

Підготовка Росії до нових великих наступів: удари по енергосистемі відбуватимуться з регулярністю кожні 10 днів.

Threat of new attacks on Ukraine's energy system

Head of the NEC 'Ukrenergo' Vitaliy Zaychenko warned about Russia's preparation for new massive attacks on Ukraine's energy system, which are planned approximately every 10 days. According to him, each attack complicates the balancing of the energy system, creating additional difficulties for energy companies and consumers.

Currently, subscribers in five regions of Ukraine remain without power. In response to the threat, measures are already being implemented to restrict electricity consumption in the country, indicating the seriousness of the situation. DTEK CEO Maxim Tyymchenko noted:

“This winter will be the most difficult since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.” - Maxim Tyymchenko

Critical situation with energy security

The situation with energy security in Ukraine remains critical against the backdrop of constant threats from Russia, emphasizing the importance of support and modernization of energy infrastructure. Energy companies and government agencies must take all necessary measures to ensure the stability of energy supply, especially during the winter cold when electricity consumption traditionally rises.
