Provocations of the Russian Federation

The Russian Federation plans provocations, accusing Ukraine of terrorist acts, particularly on the eve of Christmas, which is celebrated on January 7 according to the Julian calendar. The Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service warns of possible attacks using fabricated evidence.

On the night of December 29, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Ukraine allegedly attacked the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, U.S. national security services concluded that Ukraine could not have been involved in this incident. Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the situation, noted:

“Such statements from Russia only serve to prepare the ground for possible strikes on the Ukrainian capital and government buildings.” - Volodymyr Zelensky

For his part, the advisor to the head of the Ukrainian president's office, Andriy Sibiga, emphasized that there was no attack by Ukraine on the residence of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. These events highlight the tension in relations between Ukraine and Russia, as well as possible provocations that could escalate the conflict in the region. The situation remains under the control of Ukrainian authorities, who are closely monitoring developments and are ready to respond to any threats.

Consequences for Security

In the context of growing tension between Ukraine and Russia, such incidents can have serious consequences for security in the region. Provocations from Russia, especially before important holidays, can be used to justify further military actions. Ukrainian officials call on the international community to be vigilant and support Ukraine in its efforts to counter aggression.
