Russian troops in southern Ukraine are intensifying shelling of Ukrainian units. This activity has been ongoing for almost a week. The news was confirmed by the spokesman of the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.
According to Voloshyn, the enemy is using artillery to shell settlements close to the front line. As a result of the artillery shelling in Kherson yesterday, there were casualties among civilians, as well as destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.
Despite the increased intensity of shelling, Russian troops are suffering significant losses during assault operations. 'If earlier our forces reported enemy losses of about 50 people, then over the last day this figure has risen to 74. Enemy losses are increasing,' Voloshyn emphasized, noting that the increase in shelling does not help the enemy achieve success.
Russian troops continue active actions on the Southern Front, using artillery to shell settlements. Ukrainian defense forces are repelling enemy attacks, which suffer losses during assault operations. The conflict in eastern Ukraine continues to escalate, preventing both sides from achieving stability and peace in the region.
