The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are launching an attack on Ukrainian positions, planned and executed with great enthusiasm. General Oleg Apostol reported this in his interview for 'Glavkom', emphasizing that the Russian forces have a clear advantage in personnel numbers.
The officer noted that the main problem for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the large number of Russian soldiers ready for assaults and attacks. 'The scale of human resources in the Russian army has always amazed us,' the general admitted.
Apostol also emphasized that many Russian soldiers, upon signing a contract, do not understand the nature of the conflict and the risks they are exposing themselves to. This situation leads to a rapid depletion of forces and losses within the Russian army.
Problems with Numbers in the Russian Army
Despite orders given to each serviceman to storm positions, many soldiers are eager to join combat actions without properly understanding all the risks. Fortunately, the state of the Airborne Assault Forces is gradually normalizing and can handle combat tasks, the message states.
Context: Ukrainian and Russian troops continue to carry out active combat operations in eastern Ukraine. In this conflict, the numerical advantage of Russian soldiers, as well as issues with motivation and a real understanding of the situation among parts of the Russian army, are of great importance.
