Infrastructure Under Attack

Russia has launched a mass strike targeting Ukraine's port and railway infrastructure, including a port facility in the Odesa region. The drone attack killed one person and injured six others, three of whom are in serious condition. All the wounded have received medical care. The assault also damaged the port's infrastructure, fertilizer storage facilities, and transport vehicles, including freight rail cars. A fire broke out, and emergency services are currently working to contain the damage. These attacks are part of a sustained campaign to cripple Ukraine's economy and export capabilities.

Railway Network Also Hit

Separately, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces conducted drone strikes against railway infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported there, and the damage did not disrupt rail traffic.

These coordinated strikes highlight the growing threat to Ukraine's critical infrastructure, which could have severe consequences for the nation's economy and logistics. The Ukrainian government continues to respond to such challenges by strengthening its defenses and coordinating emergency services to mitigate the impact of the attacks. As the conflict persists, ensuring the security of vital transport routes and ports remains a priority for the international community.
