The Russian Federation attempted to attack the city of Yuzhne in the Odessa region using marine drones, but they exploded before reaching Ukrainian territory. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Defense's intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, as quoted by Ukrinform.
Budanov stated that the drones were headed towards Yuzhne, but 'they encountered failure'. 'In early June, they tried to test experimental models of marine drones, but to no avail. They exploded at sea, not even reaching Ukraine's territorial waters,' he stated.
At the same time, the Russian occupation army attacked Kharkiv, damaging homes and causing fires. The Novobavarsky district was shelled by Russian drones. Additionally, Russian 'shaheds' attacked the Izmail district of the Odessa region.
Interestingly, Russia is helping North Korea in the production and training of their drone operators.
During the Russian Federation's attempt to attack the city of Yuzhne in the Odessa region with marine drones, they exploded before reaching Ukrainian territory. This indicates Russia's intention to introduce new types of weapons and test their effectiveness in combat conditions. At the same time, the Russian army continues to carry out attacks in various directions in Ukraine, causing destruction and fear among the civilian population.
