Statement by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sibiga stated that Russia has not provided any credible evidence for its accusations regarding the alleged attack on President Putin's residence. According to him, nearly a day has passed, but the Russian side has not confirmed its statements. Sibiga also expressed concern about the reactions from the Emirati, Indian, and Pakistani sides, which voiced concerns over the attack that, in his opinion, did not occur.
Propaganda and international reaction
He emphasized that such reactions to Russia's unfounded statements only strengthen Russian propaganda and encourage Moscow to take further actions that contradict international law. The minister recalled the missile strike that occurred on September 7, 2025, when a real Russian missile hit a real building of the Ukrainian government. Sibiga also reminded that Russia claimed it had no intention to attack Ukraine at the beginning of 2022.
“Sibiga's statements highlight the importance of an objective assessment of information in the context of information warfare and the necessity of fact-checking before spreading them on the international stage.” - Andrii Sibiga
This situation illustrates the complexity of the information field in which Ukraine and Russia are fighting for the support of the international community. The reactions of other states to Russia's statements can significantly influence international politics and security in the region, so it is important for all participants in the process to act based on verified facts and objective information.
