The communities struck in the Synelnykove district were:

  • Slovianska
  • Pokrovska

In total, two private houses were destroyed, six private homes and six two-story apartment buildings were damaged. One commercial structure and a garage were also hit. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) provided this information, as reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ongoing Conflict in Ukraine

This shelling is part of the wider war in Ukraine, which escalated with Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022, following the initial conflict that began in 2014. The Dnipropetrovsk region, situated in central Ukraine, has frequently been targeted, highlighting the persistent threat to civilian areas far from the front lines. Such incidents underscore the severe and ongoing humanitarian cost of the war, which continues to draw significant international concern and diplomatic efforts.
