Russia in the leadership of the UNESCO Anti-Doping Fund: how it happened

For the first time since 2022, Russia has become part of the leadership of the UNESCO Fund for combating doping in sports. The Ukrainian delegation at the conference in Paris was led by Victoria Ryasnaya, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports for European Integration. Russia brought a significant delegation, positioned itself as a competitor to Estonia, and ultimately received support from 76 countries, including Belarus, Venezuela, and North Korea. Thus, the country was once again able to exert a significant influence on discussions regarding pressing sports issues.
