Russia again shelled the DTEK thermal power plant
On the night of November 19, Russia again shelled the DTEK thermal power plant, damaging equipment. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' citing the press service of DTEK.
'Russia again attacked the DTEK thermal power plant. Equipment has been damaged. We are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling,' the message says.
Fifth attack on the thermal power plant in two months
The company notes that this is already the fifth attack on the thermal power plant in the past two months. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russians have carried out over 210 strikes on DTEK TPP.
Attack on critical infrastructure facilities
It should be reminded that on the night of November 19, the Russian Federation carried out a combined strike on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. In total, the occupiers used 524 missiles and drones of various types.
Other attacks by Russian troops
The Russian Federation attacked Ternopil with missiles. Several explosions were heard in the city. Later, it became known that a multi-story residential building was damaged as a result of the strike. In addition, Russian troops attacked the Lviv region with missiles and strike drones. As a result of the shelling, an energy facility was damaged, and fires broke out.
Massive kamikaze drone attack
Also on the night of November 19, Russian troops carried out a massive attack with 'Geran-2' kamikaze drones on Kharkiv. As a result of the strikes, at least 46 people were injured. The Air Force reported that a Russian X-101 missile likely hit a residential building in Ternopil.
Ukrainian military forces are joining efforts to restore the damaged equipment of the thermal power plant and to prevent further aggression from Russia.
