Russia attacked Mykolaiv with drones: large-scale power outages in the city and region

Внаслідок ворожого удару безпілотниками, Миколаїв та навколишні території зазнали серйозних перебоїв із електропостачанням.

Russian troops struck Mykolaiv and the Odesa region

On the night of December 20, Russian troops used drones to strike Mykolaiv and its region. This led to serious issues with electricity supply in the area. Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych reported that the light went out not only in the city but also in neighboring settlements of Mykolaiv and Voznesensk districts.

Currently, rescue services are working at the site of the shelling to deal with the aftermath of the attack. The mentioned areas suffered significant material losses.

Massive strike on port infrastructure in the Odesa region

'The enemy's target was port infrastructure facilities, where trucks caught fire during the shelling,' - said the head of the Odesa OVA Oleg Kiper.

In the previous days, the Odesa district also suffered from a massive strike of Russian ballistic missiles. Unfortunately, as a result of the attack, seven people were killed, and more than fifteen were injured. All the victims received the necessary medical assistance and were hospitalized.

The attacks led to damage to energy and port infrastructure in the region. Gradually, the area is recovering after the losses incurred.

The Mykolaiv and Odesa regions became targets for Russian troops, who struck at the peaceful population and infrastructure. Information about significant material losses and human casualties is very alarming and sad. The Ukrainian government is appealing to the international community to express protest against such attacks and support the country in its struggle against aggression. Currently, the authorities and services are trying to localize the damage, and those affected are receiving the necessary assistance and medical care. It is important that the international community supports Ukraine in this difficult time.
