Today, July 29, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the territory of one of the training units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the safety measures taken, it was possible to mitigate the consequences of losses among the personnel, but three servicemen were killed and 18 were wounded. Emergency services are currently working at the scene of the incident. The command expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased.
In order to investigate the causes of the tragedy, a commission has been established under the leadership of the head of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A service investigation has also begun. If any inaction by officials is identified, they will be held accountable. To ensure the safety of servicemen during aggressive actions, additional measures are being taken, according to the Ground Forces.
After the missile strike, which resulted in casualties among Ukrainian servicemen, an investigation has been initiated to establish the causes and those responsible for this tragedy. The command stated that it would strive to strengthen security measures for its military personnel during possible aggressive actions from Russia.
