The Russian occupiers shelled the fire station in Donetsk region
The Russian occupiers continue to attack rescuers and firefighters. This time, their enemies targeted the fire and rescue station in Donetsk region. This was reported by Glavkom citing SES.
It was reported that as a result of the shelling, the building of this SES unit in Dobropillia was damaged.
Situation in the fire and rescue unit
According to the press service, the personnel remained unharmed, and the equipment was also unaffected. However, the gates were crushed by the shock wave, glass was shattered, doors and the ceiling were damaged.
Just yesterday, on August 19, Russian terrorists continued to attack the peaceful population of Ukraine. In the evening, the Russians shelled Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region. SES reports that the strike also hit the rescuers.
Every day, our heroes respond to calls under fire. They are on the front line of safety, despite the danger. This is yet another example of the soullessness of the Russians: those who save become targets. Even in such situations, the rescuers continue their work.
It should be noted that due to another Russian attack, the building and fire and rescue equipment of one of the SES units in Kropyvnytskyi were damaged. Earlier, on August 6, the enemy attacked a SES service vehicle. As a result, one rescuer and two civilians were killed.
Firefighters and rescuers in eastern Ukraine are under constant fire from Russian mercenaries, but they do not give up and continue their dangerous work to assist citizens and combat the consequences of the war.
