Airstrike on Zaporizhzhia
On July 5, Russia launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia, leaving 13 people wounded. Among the injured was a police officer who later died while receiving emergency medical care. The strikes were carried out using two FAB-500 glide bombs equipped with a universal planning and correction module. One of the bombs landed near a multi-story residential building, causing extensive damage.

The air raid specifically targeted a private residential area of the city, where a 15-year-old teenager was among those harmed. The impact ignited a house fire. Two police officers sustained severe injuries. In total, the enemy struck 56 populated locations across the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in one fatality and 16 wounded individuals.
“People are suffering from concussions and shrapnel wounds. All victims are receiving the necessary medical care,” said Ivan Fedorov.
Authorities continue to assist those affected and are assessing the full extent of the attack's consequences.
