Внаслідок нічних обстрілів постраждали Дніпро та Київ: знищені будівлі і людські втрати

Attacks on Dnipro and Kyiv

In the early hours of June 15, Russian forces launched a combined assault on Dnipro using missiles and drones. Explosions rocked the city, sparking a fire at an industrial facility and injuring at least one person. The attack caused significant destruction:

  • A college building was completely destroyed;
  • Windows were blown out at a school and a cultural center.

Meanwhile, Kyiv also came under drone attack. In the Pechersk district, a five-story residential building was hit. In the Obolon district, a strike tore through a residential building between the third and fourth floors. The Solomianskyi district saw a nine-story residential building struck as well. Additionally, a fire broke out in a five-story warehouse facility in Obolon. Emergency medical teams have been dispatched to the Podil and Pechersk districts of the capital in response to these incidents.

This information is based on a report by Glavcom, citing Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Hanzha.

These attacks underscore the escalating violence in Ukraine, particularly in major cities, raising alarm among residents and local authorities. Targeting civilian infrastructure highlights the severity of the situation and the urgent need for protective measures. Such strikes could have far-reaching implications for regional security and stability, potentially shaping international reactions and support for Ukraine in countering aggression.

The recent attacks on Dnipro and Kyiv are part of a troubling pattern of violence that has escalated across Ukraine. As highlighted in a related report, one fatality and multiple injuries were also reported in strikes on Dnipro and Kharkiv, indicating the growing threat to civilian life and infrastructure. This ongoing situation raises critical questions about the safety of urban areas in Ukraine and the international community's response to such aggression.
