Strike on the Darnytsia Facility
On June 28, Russia launched a missile attack against the Darnytsia pharmaceutical plant in Kyiv. Despite the nighttime assault, no fatalities or injuries were reported among the plant's employees, and operations continue as usual. The attack occurred overnight as the adversary struck the Ukrainian capital with ballistic missiles. However, one person elsewhere in Kyiv was injured as a result of this assault.
Details of the Attack
Reports indicate that the enemy deployed:
- two Zircon and Oniks anti-ship missiles launched from Russia's Kursk region;
- six Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles fired from the Bryansk region;
- 142 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and imitation-type 'Parody' models.
Drone launch points included Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Donetsk, and Gvardeyskoye in Crimea.
At this point, we can confirm that there are no dead or injured among the staff, and the plant will continue its operations.

This attack underscores the ongoing hostilities within Ukraine, particularly those aimed at critical infrastructure. While the Darnytsia plant avoided significant damage, such strikes heighten regional tensions and could affect the overall security situation in Ukraine. It is also worth noting that these actions may have economic repercussions, as infrastructure damage can lead to delays in the production and supply of essential medicines.
This recent attack on the Darnytsia pharmaceutical plant highlights the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, particularly as it relates to critical infrastructure. In a parallel development, Ukrainian forces targeted a Russian missile facility, demonstrating the escalating military actions between the two nations. Such events not only impact security but also have broader implications for regional stability and economic conditions.
