Russia has lost more than a million fighters: new data from the General Staff as of August 11

The Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the data on Russian occupiers' losses as of the morning of August 11, 2025.

According to the latest data, the Russian troops in the war with Ukraine have incurred the following losses:



  • personnel - about 1,064,240 (+1000) people,

  • tanks - 11,093 (+4) units,

  • combat armored vehicles - 23,114 (+7) units,

  • artillery systems - 31,380 (+37) units,

  • multiple launch rocket systems - 1,462 (+2) units,

  • air defense systems - 1,204 (+0) units,

  • airplanes - 421 (+0) units,

  • helicopters - 340 (+0) units,

  • tactical-level drones - 50,646 (+191) units,

  • cruise missiles - 3,556 (+0) units,

  • ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,

  • submarines - 1 (+0) unit,

  • automotive and tanker vehicles - 58,113 (+131) units,

  • special equipment - 3,936 (+0).



It is noted that the full-scale war in Ukraine is continuing on its 1265th day.



The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the updated data on the losses of Russian troops in the war. The figures indicate significant losses for the enemy, which confirms the complexity of the situation on the front and Ukraine's ongoing struggle for its independence.
