According to the latest data received on September 3, 2025, from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian forces have updated the losses inflicted on Russian occupiers.
Total losses of Russia in the war as of September 3, 2025
Over the last 1288 days of the conflict, the Russian Federation has lost a significant amount of military equipment and personnel:
- personnel – about 1,084,570 people,
- tanks – 11,157 units,
- armored fighting vehicles – 23,237 units,
- artillery systems – 32,342 units,
- MLRS – 1,477 units,
- air defense systems – 1,213 units,
- airplanes – 422 units,
- helicopters – 341 units,
- tactical drones – 55,784 units,
- cruise missiles – 3,664 units,
- ships/boats – 28 units,
- submarines – 1 unit,
- automotive and tanker vehicles – 60,600 units,
- special equipment – 3,956 units.
These figures indicate serious losses of Russian troops in the ongoing conflict on the territory of Ukraine.
